This is a national signature project to commemorate the 100-year anniversary of Route 66 by bringing together American history, modern military service, and brand storytelling through a curated cross-country road trip featuring U.S. Navy sailors and a professional content team.

Going to LA Fleet Week on Route 66
Starting in mid-May, A group of ALG Member U.S. Navy sailors will depart from Chicago and travel west to Los Angeles along historic Route 66. Over the course of 7–10 days, the team will stop at iconic destinations and partner-aligned locations, capturing stories that highlight service, teamwork, community, and American culture.
They are on their way to LA Fleet Week - Southern California's largest Memorial Day event.
The proposed route includes Chicago, St. Louis, Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Amarillo, Santa Fe, Flagstaff, Barstow, and Los Angeles. Final routing and stops will be refined based on partner interest and logistics.
At each destination, sailors and the content team will engage with local communities, veterans organizations, and civic partners. Content will be captured across video, photography, and social formats, producing daily road updates as well as destination-specific stories and a long-form recap released during LA Fleet Week that runs from Friday, May 22, to Monday, May 25, 2026.
