Supernatural 66: Zombies, Ghosts, and Spook Lights

On the second Thursday of every month the State Historical Society of Missouri will be talking Route 66 in Missouri. Join us as we tell the stories of people and places in Missouri that helped make Route 66 into a national icon—and a lens to understand the history and myths of the United States. This series is a Route 66 Centennial Certified Project through the National Route 66 Centennial Commission.

Do you believe in the Paranormal? Join us as we take a spooky ride along Missouri’s Haunted Route 66, exploring haunted mansions, castles, roads, and theatres. The mother road has produced tales of ghosts, zombies, spook lights and other unexplained events for 100 years or longer. Visit the spirits at Lemp Mansion in St. Louis, explore the infamous Zombie Road, meet the Goat Man in Rolla, discover the Ozark Spook Light outside of Joplin, and many, many, more places…if you dare.
