In 2026, as both Route 66 and Bosch Wiper Blades turn 100, Bosch will take its “Impressive Innovation” caravan on a 2,400 mile journey from Chicago to Santa Monica—as a dynamic, real world product showcase and a platform for Route 66 storytelling and awareness.
Partnering with leading automotive influencers, Bosch will document the full length of the Mother Road, using the entire trip as an extended test drive to demonstrate how Bosch Wiper Blades perform across diverse weather, visibility, and road conditions.
Bosch Innovation Centennial Road Trip Details
Bosch Wiper Blades are designed for the road ahead. That road happens to be Route 66. To celebrate Bosch’s 100 year commitment to innovation and keep people safe on the road, we’re road tripping.
At select stops along the route, our caravan will feature storytelling moments highlighting Route 66's history, notable locations, retail partners, local champions, and preservation efforts aligned with Bosch's commitment to safety and connection on the road.
The journey will conclude at the Pacific Ocean, where the caravan will mark the end of the Centennial drive with a sunset celebration on the shores of Santa Monica.
By combining 100 years of automotive heritage with modern wiper technology and support for Route 66 storytelling and preservation, this project aims to prove that while the road had changed, Bosch's commitment to a clear view never will.
