100 Miles of Kindness
A Route 66 Adventure

“100 Miles of Kindness: A Route 66 Adventure” celebrates the 100th anniversary of U.S. Route 66 by taking viewers on an epic road trip from Chicago to Santa Monica. Along the journey, our host Janine will stop every 100 miles to perform meaningful acts of kindness for local residents, small businesses, and travelers.

The gestures of kindness range from supporting families in need to surprising community heroes, highlighting the people and towns that bring Route 66 to life while creating memorable storytelling moments.

The project is designed as an episodic mini-series, capturing 24 acts of kindness over 7–10 days of filming. Each stop showcases the human connection, resilience, and joy embedded in Route 66 communities. While in-person interactions are estimated to impact hundreds of participants, publishing the content on YouTube and social media allows the project to reach a global audience, inspiring viewers to engage with and celebrate the history and legacy of the highway.

The series will launch ahead of the official anniversary in November to build momentum and engagement around the centennial celebration. Releasing content in a three-part mini-series maximizes relevancy, maintains audience interest, and ensures the stories reach viewers before the key milestone. Filming will take place in April, allowing ample time for editing, storytelling, and strategic promotion across multiple platforms.

combining adventure, culture, and philanthropy into a scalable format that can extend beyond Route 66. The episodic approach ensures shareable, high-quality content while honoring the centennial legacy, inspiring generosity, and connecting viewers with the history, people, and communities that define America’s most iconic highway.
