The Route 66 Centennial Monument Project commemorates the Mother Road's 100th Anniversary through a public art installation featuring vibrant placemaking monuments that evoke the nostalgia of Route 66 signage.
Each double-sided monument sign includes:
• A face design for each Route 66 state
• A name box for the town, city, or neighborhood where the monument is located
• A QR code directing visitor to a webpage offering local history and tourism information
